Some time after Ilmo and I stopped working directly together (thanks to reorgs / team changes), I was showing my son one of the books I had a chapter on, and while showing him my own name I noticed that years before our paths crossed at work, when both of us were in academia, Ilmo and I worked on different chapters of the same book. That day, I messaged Tim saying “Can you believe Ilmo is in this book?”

World is small, academia smaller, tech world even smaller than that, but how bittersweet it is to have Ilmo knowledge captured a little bit here.
