Ilmo and I started on the same day in 2015 at Facebook. I immediately knew he was a very special human – full of brilliance, kindness, and an unparalleled sense of humor. Ilmo graciously and generously gave of his time and energy to educate everyone around him, teaching us new analytical methods as well as discussing important and never-before-considered research questions. He left an indelible imprint on everyone lucky enough to know him. My heart is with Hayzell and Cal – may they know how much of a wonderful impact Ilmo had on the lives of us fortunate enough to know him.
